Fernandes was a tremendous midfielder for the field hockey team over four seasons. The program’s lone three-time All-American, Fernandes helped lead AIC’s squads to the first two NE10 and NCAA Tournament appearances in 2010 and 2011. Those teams remain AIC’s only field hockey units to end the season ranked in the NFHCA Top 10.
