Mooney Named to NE-10 Weekly Honor Roll
South Easton, Mass. – Freshman Dan Mooney’s (Bennington, Vt.) of The American International College baseball team was named to the Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll after batting .462 (6-13) with five RBI in a 2-2 week for the Yellow Jackets. He went 4 for 8 with four RBIs in a season-ending doubleheader at Pace, including a 3 for 4 performance with two RBIs in AIC’s 6-4 game-two victory. Mooney was also 1 for 3 with an RBI in a win over Pace earlier in the week. [more]
Baseball Splits Doubleheader at Pace to Wrap-up 2008 Season
Pleasantville, N.Y. - The American International College baseball team split a doubleheader at Pace Sunday afternoon, winning game-two 6-4 after falling in game-one 9-4. The Yellow Jackets end the season with an overall record 11-30 and a 9-21 mark in the Northeast-10, while the Setters closed the regular season at 30-21 overall and 18-12 in conference play.
